The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods in a safe, timely manner while adhering to delivery schedules. Duties

• Safely and efficiently deliver products to customers or businesses
• Load and unload cargo following specific handling procedures
• Operate delivery vehicles such as box trucks and vans
• Plan delivery routes using GPS and navigation tools
• Communicate with customers upon arrival and handle any inquiries or concerns
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks Experience
• Prior experience as a Delivery Driver is preferred
• Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles
• Ability to lift heavy items and use equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts
• Commercial driving experience is a plus
• Knowledge of route driving and courier responsibilities Responsibilities Deliver a wide variety of packages to different addresses and through different routes Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle Follow DOT regulations and safety standards Skills Delivery experience preferred Great organizational and time management skills Excellent attendance and positive attitude Must be at least 21 years old Good driving record with no more than 1 speeding ticket in last 12 months Must be able to handle up to 150 pounds No prior or pending felonies or DUIs Must pass background check and drug screen
