Job Description
Furniture Mover/Delivery Driver The Hickory Tree 831 Old Lenoir NW Road, Hickory, NC 28601 Used Furniture Store. Part time, as-needed position delivering and picking up furniture from customers’ homes. Moves are scheduled mostly between 9am-3pm. Usually 5-10 pick ups and deliveries each week. Also available hours to assist with store staging and re-setting showroom floor. 15-25 hours per week. We are hiring a Mover/Driver to be available to drive or ride in moving van or small box truck to deliver or pick up furniture varying in size/weight. Can train, but would prefer someone with moving experience. Will be required to lift, carry, load, wrap, and pack furniture. Use of blankets, dollies, and hand trucks will be necessary, as well as ability to lift 100+ lbs. Clean driving record and background check required, experience moving furniture and driving delivery vehicles preferred. Pay starting at $18/hr + tips
