Full Job Description Position:

Prep & Load Delivery Truck Associate•1-2x Per Week•Part-Time & Physical Door Tech is a leading manufacturer of aluminum storm doors, screen doors, and storm windows, serving over 300 independent lumberyards across the Southeast. We take pride in quality craftsmanship, operational efficiency, and a high energy team environment. As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a dependable, physically capable team member to help prepare and load our 26-foot box truck for deliveries. You’ll be working directly with our plant and delivery teams to ensure each shipment leaves complete, secure, and well-organized. This is a part-time, hands-on role perfect for someone who enjoys physical work, attention to detail, and seeing a job through from start to finish. You’ll help us stage, verify, and load custom door orders to ensure smooth and damage-free delivery. You’ll be provided with checklists, visual load templates, and a forklift (training available) to make the work organized and efficient.

Responsibilities:

Pre-Load Prep (Day Before Loading): Locate, clean, and stage all doors for the next scheduled delivery. Organize product by stop and ensure each order is complete and damage-free.

Loading Day:

Follow a visual loading layout to efficiently load up to 260 doors into a 26′ box truck. Use checklists to verify 100% order accuracy before departure. Secure the load with straps, blocking, and protective methods to prevent shifting or damage. Operate a forklift as needed (we provide training if not already certified).

Final Checks:

Confirm that all orders are fully loaded and accounted for. Flag any missing, damaged, or mispacked items before departure.

Schedule Details:

Part-time:

1-3 days/week based on delivery schedule.

Typical shift length:
