The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to navigate various routes while adhering to safety regulations. Duties Operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks, ensuring safe and timely delivery of goods. Load and unload products using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts. Manage delivery schedules and communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers. Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations. Handle moving and transporting items with care to prevent damage during transit. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries or concerns during deliveries. Requirements Valid commercial driving license (CDL) preferred; experience with manual transmission is a plus. Previous experience in warehouse operations or as a courier is advantageous. Ability to operate a forklift and other material handling equipment safely. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills for interaction with customers and team members. Must be able to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods. A clean driving record is required, along with the ability to pass background checks as necessary.
