Part-Time Truck Driver Assistant/Mover

Hours:

Approximately 2-4 days a week; 9:30-4:30, Monday-Saturday; Days and times vary

• DutiesInclude but are not limited to:
• Be able to drive a box truck and operate lift
• Maintain a clean driving record
• Must be able to lift 80lbs or more
• Assist in maintaining the safe working order of the truck and advise of needed repairs or issues
• Assist with accepting store donations and writing receipts
• Assist with duties that help keep the store in good order (i.e. taking recycling and trash, cleaning, etc
• Assist REACH office with carrying away large trash, food pick-ups, maintenance, and other needs that r equire the truck
• Assist with scheduling pick-ups as needed
• Greeting and assisting customers
• Moving furniture as needed
• Assist with sorting donations as needed
• Promote and support the mission of REACH

• Skills:

• Valid Driver’s License
• Friendly, outgoing, and works well with the public
• Able to work independently
• Strong organizational skills
• Experience in customer service
• Supportive and understanding of the philosophy and mission of REACH of Macon CountyWhile the PT position does not include benefits, all employees, regardless of position, receive one free floating holiday to recognizeand honor their birthday. This holiday can be taken at any time with prior approval from the Executive Director. PT employees arealso eligible for an annual holiday supplement.
