The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering goods to various locations while ensuring excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism. The Delivery Driver will operate box trucks and may utilize equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to facilitate the loading and unloading of products. Responsibilities Safely operate a box truck to deliver goods to designated locations. Load and unload products using pallet jacks and forklifts as necessary. Ensure timely delivery of items while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients. Maintain accurate delivery records and logs, including mileage and delivery times. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organization. Perform heavy lifting when required, ensuring proper techniques are used for safety. Experience Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is a plus. Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with moving goods. Knowledge of local roads and routes is beneficial for efficient navigation.
