Qualifications:

MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE

Minimum 1 year driving for a business (for church, school etc) out of the last 3 or 5 years out of the last 10. This can be pizza delivery, driving church groups, etc. If you think it qualifies it doesn’t hurt to ask! (this requirement is changing very soon so do not let it discourage you)

• Clean driving record.
• A solid work ethic and commitment to taking care of our customers and recipients.
• Ability to report to work and deliveries on time.
• Be able to pass a drug test & DOT physical..
• Be able to work in all types of weather
• rain, clear skies, cold, hot, etc.
• You must be able to lift up to 150lbs. (dolly provided on each truck; you are expected to just lift that amount)
• Must be able to utilize technology (GPS, scanner, mobile clock-in and scheduling app etc.

Dispatch from Wilmington hub and return to Wilmington hub same day. Work Remotely No Summary As a FedEx Delivery Driver, you will be essential in ensuring timely and efficient delivery of packages to our customers. Reporting to the Delivery Supervisor, your core responsibilities include driving, heavy lifting, and navigating various routes. Your customer service skills will enhance client interactions, while your experience with commercial driving and box trucks will ensure safe transport of goods. Additionally, your relevant skills in moving, loading and unloading, and familiarity with manual transmission vehicles will contribute to the overall success of our delivery operations. Join us in providing exceptional service and reliability to our customers. Responsibilities Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages to designated locations. Load and unload packages, ensuring proper handling and securing of items. Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with clients during deliveries. Maintain accurate delivery records and adhere to scheduled routes. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient package processing.
