The Mount Carmel HELPS Inc delivery driver’s primary responsibility is to safely and efficiently transport food boxes to clients, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining food quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Safe and Timely Delivery:

Deliver food boxes to clients within the allotted time, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.

Customer Service:

Provide friendly and courteous service to customers, addressing any questions or concerns promptly.

Box Accuracy:

Verify correct size and quantity of boxes before pickup and delivery to ensure they match client’s household size.

Food Handling:

Maintain food quality and freshness by adhering to proper handling and storage procedures.

Vehicle Management:

Operate and maintain the delivery vehicle in a safe and clean condition.

Communication:

Communicate effectively with clients, case managers, and other Mount Carmel HELPS staff.

Route Navigation:

Navigate efficiently using Routific or other navigation tools.

Load and Unload:

Load and unload food boxes from the vehicle.

Follow Procedures:

Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding deliveries and customer service.
