Delivery and Production We’re looking for a hardworking, detail-oriented Roastery Production Assistant & Delivery person to join our team! As the Roastery Delivery & Production Assistant, you’ll be responsible for the delivering of all orders and products kept at and sold from our Roasting facilities. You will communicate with management, the roasting team, and customers to ensure correct product is organized & delivered, & that supplies and products are inventoried and available. You’ll also be involved with production in-house, ensuring retail bags, bulk coffee, and samples are bagged and ready to go in accordance with every order. The representative should be motivated to learn about coffee, and the specialty coffee industry. Interest in becoming a coffee expert a plus, as this person must be able to offer excellent customer service, and speak intelligently about our coffee offerings and other products. This role has a specific impact on building relationships with customers, and requires timely interaction and support, as well as follow-up with clients and managers. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Communicates with office managers & team to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of orders from the facility. The ability to follow through on communication with managers, to clarify any ambiguous or unclear ordering, or client needs, is a must.
  • Conducts deliveries and communicate with production staff to ensure the products, and needs of the Facility, and wholesale clients, are met.
  • Excellent customer service as the point of contact with clients. customer/client overview of equipment needs/maintenance.
  • Follow, maintain, and update delivery documents for accuracy of deliveries.
  • Be able to be flexible with time and duties in an ever changing work environment.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, spatial organization, and other such conditions within the various roasting work spaces & warehouse.
  • Production projects including but not limited to; labeling and prepping coffee bags, filling & sealing bags for orders, stock organization, extra delivery runs, facilities upkeep & cleaning projects, etc.

as designated by managers.

Compensation:

$16.40-18.00 Living Wage hourly, based on experience. 4 days / 32hrs a week to start. This position has the opportunity to grow into a full time, living wage position with health benefits.

Requirements:

Ability to lift 75+ pounds and a valid, clean driver’s license, strong communication skills and amazing customer service.
