ESSENTIAL
RESPONSIBILITIES and
BASIC DUTIES
Assist with loading and unloading tires, casings, wheels, mounted wheel assemblies and related products. Communicate in an honest and professional manner to customers and other Thomas associates. Reviewing shipments and advise management of shortages or damaged products. Learning new skills and acquiring new knowledge from customers, vendors, fellow employees and corporate training initiatives. Attend training classes provided by Thomas and parts supplier. Work with Warehouse/Store Manager on proper documentation of merchandise control. Maintain warehouse/storage area in a neat and organized manner. Transport product to and from remote locations. Load and unload product efficiently. Keep accurate records of deliveries/pickups, including appropriate signatures. Properly secure loads and assure loads are within requirements. Operate company vehicles in a safe manner and report problems or defects. Complies with Thomas Quality Control Program, Thomas Safety Policy, OSHA and EPA regulations. Proper maintenance of assigned service vehicle including appearance as well as on board service equipment. Assist with a variety of duties such as attending to customers, maintaining inventory, moving and stacking tires, and other duties as required. Adheres to working schedule and utilizes time clock per Thomas guidelines. Understands and upholds the Thomas mission statement.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Adheres specifically to all corporate policies and procedures and applicable laws. Maintains highest levels of grooming, hygiene, and acceptable uniform appearance. Stays abreast of the Thomas’s products and services; recognizes opportunities to recommend Thomas products and services. Acts in a professional manner with all customers, co-workers and supervisors. Performs other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
