Van Driver (Full and Part-Time YVEDDI King, NC 27021 Company Overview YVEDDI is a nonprofit Community Action Agency established in 1965, dedicated to serving the residents of Davie, Stokes, Surry, and Yadkin Counties. Our organization is committed to addressing community needs through various programs funded by federal, state, and local resources. Summary We are seeking a Van Driver to join our team at YVEDDI. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting clients and goods safely and efficiently within our service areas. Your contribution will be vital in helping us deliver essential services to the community. Responsibilities Transport clients to designated locations in a timely manner. Ensure vehicle safety and maintenance by conducting regular inspections. Assist with loading and unloading of passengers. Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage and fuel consumption. Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients during transport while displaying a professional and courteous manner. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving. Learn and follow agency guidelines for transporting passengers. Requirements Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. High School Diploma preferred but not required. At least 5 years driving experience. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients. Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance is a plus.
