We are seeking a dependable and flexible individual to join our team as a Shop Assistant / Delivery Driver. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day-to-day responsibilities, is mechanically inclined, and takes pride in keeping a clean and organized workspace. While local driving responsibilities are minimal (approximately 5% of the job), applicants must be comfortable operating an F-350 for local deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

Sanitation & Shop Maintenance Sweep and maintain cleanliness of the shop area daily Clean particles from the bottom of the water jet machine each morning to prepare for use Machine Operation Assist in operating the CNC machine when the CNC Machinist is unavailable Monitor equipment and follow all safety procedures Delivery & Pickup Perform occasional local deliveries and pickups (1-2 orders daily) Operate an F-350 to transport parts or tools to/from Monroe and Indian Trail Handle occasional packages up to 50 lbs. General Warehouse Support Assist in various shop tasks as needed Sanitation to ensure machines are running efficiently Float between departments based on workflow or staffing needs

Requirements:

Valid driver’s license with clean driving record Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Willingness to learn and assist across multiple shop functions Prior experience with machine operation or warehouse work preferred but not required
