Full Job Description Delivery Driver Duties:
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers
- Load and unload products from the vehicle using equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or manual methods
- Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries
- Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, ensuring it is properly fueled and maintained
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
Skills:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Assemble of high-end furniture with tools and knowledge and following instructions
- Previous experience as a high-end installer or in a related role is preferred
- Ability to lift up to 150lb with other team members and work in the elements of the seasons
- Proficiency in using equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or manual transmission vehicles
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet delivery deadlines
- Strong communication and customer service skills
