• Duties
• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and box trucks, to transport goods to designated locations
• Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling of items and adherence to safety protocols
• Plan and follow efficient routes for timely deliveries, considering traffic patterns and road conditions
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any potential delays
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts, logs, and any necessary documentation
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure operational safety
• Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization.
• Qualifications
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks consistently throughout the workday
• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a related field such as courier services or moving is advantageous
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliveries efficiently
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
• Familiarity with route driving and navigation tools is beneficial
