job title: Meal Delivery Driver-Portsmouth Meals on Wheels in Portsmouth is looking to hire a part time meal delivery driver to work with a great team of people at the Portsmouth Senior Center. This job is perfect for someone who needs flexibility and only wants to work a few hours a day. The schedule is Monday-Friday from approximately 9:30 AM-11:30 AM. You will be delivering meals to home bound clients in Portsmouth. This position requires you to use your own vehicle to deliver. You will be doing a mix of standing, walking, going up and down stairs and lifting meal bags to put in your vehicle. You will also be helping to package food for delivery. The ideal candidate is friendly and happy to chat with clients for a few minutes while also being organized and efficient when delivering. Experience with food service or delivery is helpful but not required. Must have a reliable vehicle. The hourly pay is $12.23. Paid mileage is .70 cents a mile. Benefits – Paid time off and 11 paid holidays a year. Driver and criminal background checks are performed.
