Role Overview The Local Delivery Recovery Associate plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our delivery operations. This position is responsible for investigating and resolving issues related to missing or misdelivered products, coordinating recovery routes, and ensuring inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities Investigate Delivery Discrepancies:

Analyze reports of missing or misdelivered products from overnight deliveries. Collaborate with drivers, warehouse staff, and customer service to identify root causes.

Document findings and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Coordinate Recovery Routes:

Plan and execute recovery deliveries to ensure customers receive their products promptly.

Communicate with customers regarding recovery timelines and updates.

Optimize routes for efficiency and timeliness.

Ensure Inventory Accuracy:

Conduct regular audits to verify inventory levels and product placements.

Implement processes to reduce picking and putaway errors.

Utilize inventory management systems to track and reconcile discrepancies.

Collaborate Across Departments:

Work closely with the logistics, warehouse, and customer service teams to streamline operations.

Provide feedback and training to staff to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Maintain Documentation:

Keep detailed records of investigations, recovery actions, and inventory adjustments.

Generate reports to monitor trends and identify areas for improvement. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, delivery operations, or inventory management. Proficiency in inventory management systems and route planning software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings or late evenings as needed. Must be able to read, write, & understand/speak English Must have a valid NJ driver’s license Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Comfortable working in a warehouse environment and on delivery routes. Capable of standing, walking, and performing physical tasks for extended periods.
