Delivery Driver The Hopewell Laundress 52 East Broad Street, Hopewell, NJ 08525 Overview We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle heavy lifting. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism. Duties Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations. Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Plan delivery routes effectively to optimize time and fuel efficiency. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and reliability. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and delivery confirmations. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization. Skills Experience in warehouse operations or commercial driving is preferred. Familiarity with courier services and delivery protocols is a plus. Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment is advantageous. Proficient in driving manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Capability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes. A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is essential for this role.
