The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate efficiently through designated routes. Duties Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and box trucks, to transport goods to customers. Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling of products. Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries. Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs or issues. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization. Perform heavy lifting as required when loading or unloading goods. Skills Proven experience in commercial driving or route driving is preferred. Familiarity with moving logistics and warehouse operations is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients. Experience operating forklifts is a plus. Ability to handle heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently. Excellent navigation skills and knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns. A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
