Job DescriptionWe are seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team in Rahway, United States. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of packages to our valued customers.
Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages to designated locationsLoad and unload packages from the delivery vehiclePlan and optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiencyVerify delivery information and obtain necessary signaturesMaintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenanceProvide excellent customer service during package drop-offsAdhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocolsReport any issues or delays to the dispatch team promptlyAssist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehiclePerform basic vehicle inspections before and after shiftsQualificationsValid driver’s license with a clean driving recordAbility to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 poundsExcellent time management and organizational skillsProficiency in navigation and route planningBasic smartphone proficiency for using delivery apps and communicationStrong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accuratelyExcellent customer service and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious delivery or driving experience preferredFlexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as neededPunctuality and reliability in attendance and job performance
