In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and have experience in route driving, as well as the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate different types of vehicles, including box trucks and vans. Duties Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations. Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as necessary while maintaining safety protocols. Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries to customers. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and any issues encountered during transport. Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Handle any customer inquiries or concerns professionally and promptly. Experience Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Experience in route driving, moving, or courier services is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.
