The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to navigate routes efficiently. Duties Operate delivery vehicles, to transport goods. Follow designated routes for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload garments Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate delivery records and logs, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients. Skills Experience in commercial driving with a valid driver’s license. Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems Previous experience as a courier or in warehouse settings is preferred. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record-keeping. Capability to handle manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Ability to lift heavy items and perform moving tasks as required. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
