Oceanside, NY 11572 Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to operate different types of vehicles, including vans and box trucks. If you have experience in commercial driving and a passion for providing outstanding service, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and box trucks, to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts. Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation. Provide exceptional customer service by interacting positively with clients during deliveries. Navigate efficiently to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and company policies. Handle any issues that arise during the delivery process, including delays or customer inquiries. Requirements Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Experience as a van driver or in commercial driving is preferred. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Familiarity with using pallet jacks and forklifts for loading/unloading tasks. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) as needed during deliveries. Previous experience as a courier is advantageous but not mandatory.
