Delivery Driver Fox Fodder Flowers New York, NY 10003 Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires minimal heavy lifting and the ability to navigate routes efficiently, making it essential for candidates to possess strong driving skills and a commitment to safety. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transit. Follow established routes and schedules while adapting to changes as needed. Maintain accurate delivery records, including photos, fuel consumption, and delivery confirmations. Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with clients during deliveries. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or repair needs. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization. Requirements Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Experience in commercial driving or route driving preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks. Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction. Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus. Forklift certification is advantageous but not required; training may be provided. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
