Delivery Driver Boxed logistics Middletown, NY Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations while ensuring excellent customer service. This role requires a strong attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to manage time effectively. Responsibilities Drive delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload products using manual techniques or equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts. Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking shipments and obtaining signatures. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise. Handle moving of products within the warehouse or distribution center as needed. Skills Proficient in driving various types of vehicles, including those with manual transmissions. Experience with route driving and commercial driving regulations. Ability to operate a pallet jack and forklift safely. Strong organizational skills for managing delivery schedules and routes. Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members. Capability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading goods. Familiarity with moving processes within a warehouse environment is a plus.
