The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to customer service. The Delivery Driver will operate A Van, and be required to handle loading and unloading tasks. Duties Safely operate delivery vehicles, while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload goods Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely arrival at destinations. Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and delivery confirmations. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients. Requirements Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a warehouse environment is highly desirable. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks related to loading/unloading. Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems for efficient delivery planning. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols at all times. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
