Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting medical supplies to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience in route driving and a strong commitment to customer service. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for excellence by delivering products accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans, to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage during transit. Follow assigned routes and schedules, adjusting as necessary for traffic or weather conditions. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. Experience Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety protocols. Experience with heavy lifting and handling various types of cargo. Knowledge of warehouse operations, including loading/unloading procedures. Skills in operating forklifts or other material handling equipment are a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively while on the road.
