Delivery Driver Albert Kemperle Inc. 5050 Veterans Memorial Highway, Holbrook, NY 11741 Delivery Driver A well-established Paint Supply company is looking for a full-time driver with a clean, valid driver’s license.

POSITION SUMMARY

: Establish and maintains good relations with customers by providing courteous, efficient, and professional delivery service in a safe and timely manner. Maintain an excellent driving record. Monday through Friday. 40 hours a week.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

Responsible for all deliveries to commercial accounts from the store location Pick up and deliver items to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors Collect account payments. Checks payment received with the invoices for each delivery. Check with dispatcher before leaving store to coordinate any last-minute pickups or deliveries Verify invoice matches purchase order for pickups for vendors Keep an accurate log of daily deliveries and pickups. Request customer’s signature on each delivery. Turn in all paperwork and undelivered items Advise manager if the delivery truck needs repairs and maintenance Assist in the warehouse as needed when not making deliveries Follow all Company safety policies and procedures Immediately report any accidents/incidents to the store manager Must possess a valid driver’s license subject to the following conditions: No DUI/DWI conviction within the previous five years No more than two “moving violations” within the previous 36 months No operating a vehicle with a suspended or revoked driver’s license Not have automobile insurance canceled because of a poor driving record within the previous 36 months Must be capable of lifting and moving items up to 40 pounds Must be capable of unloading items for customers in a safe and secure manner Must be functionally literate and capable of understanding and recognizing part numbers to ensure proper identification of parts
