Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Route Driver to join our team. As a Route Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to various locations efficiently and on time. Must be able to lift 50lbs and have a clean driving record. Great Pay and Benefits. Benefits include Healthcare, Vacation, 401K. Medical DOT card required.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Load and unload goods from the vehicle
- Ensure all deliveries are accurately documented and signed off by the recipient
- Communicate with customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues or malfunctions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver, Courier, or Route Driver is preferred
- Familiarity with route driving and navigating various locations
- Strong organizational skills to plan routes effectively
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers professionally
