Delivery Driver Sylvan America Kittanning, PA 16201 Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to operate delivery vehicles efficiently. The Delivery Driver will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for excellent service. Duties Operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and manual transmission vehicles, to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload products from the vehicle, ensuring items are secured and handled with care. Utilize warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts for efficient loading and unloading processes. Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and any issues encountered during transport. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers regarding delivery status and any potential delays. Skills Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety protocols. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles effectively. Experience with warehouse operations, including loading/unloading procedures. Proficient in using forklifts and pallet jacks for handling goods. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate delivery records. Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members. A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
