Appliance Installer/Delivery Driver Croft Lumber Company Sayre, PA 18840 Overview We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering appliances and equipment to customers in a timely and professional manner. This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate various delivery routes efficiently. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through safe and efficient delivery practices. Responsibilities Safely operate a box truck to transport appliances and equipment to designated locations. Load and unload items while ensuring they are securely transported to prevent damage. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from customers. Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation. Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure timely dispatch of deliveries. Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on the road and at delivery sites. Assist in troubleshooting basic appliance issues as needed, utilizing knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical components, and schematics. Perform minor equipment repairs or adjustments when necessary. Skills Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar field service role. Strong understanding of refrigerate systems and HVAC principles is preferred. Familiarity with electrical systems and equipment repair techniques is advantageous. Ability to read and interpret schematics related to appliance operation. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate deliveries. Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
