Job Description:

DL Metal Design is seeking a reliable, hard-working Delivery Driver to join our metal fabrication team. This is a full-time position with a variety of responsibilities centered around delivering fabricated materials, tools, and supplies to job sites and picking up items for our shop and installers. When deliveries are not required, you’ll assist the shop team with general tasks to support production and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Load materials and equipment for delivery using proper securing methods Deliver fabricated components, tools, and supplies to job sites or installer locations using a pickup truck or a 26′ flatbed truck Pick up materials, tools, and hardware from local vendors or supply houses Maintain delivery schedule and communicate with the shop team and installers Assist with general tasks in the fabrication shop when not making deliveries Perform daily vehicle inspections and keep vehicles clean and in good condition Follow all safety and driving regulations

Requirements:

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Ability to drive and maneuver a 26′ flatbed truck (CDL not required, but a plus) Must be reliable, punctual, and comfortable with early start times (as early as 5:00 AM) Able to lift 50+ lbs and assist in loading/unloading materials Familiarity with job site environments and basic tools is helpful Positive attitude and willingness to assist in various shop tasks when needed

40-50 hours/week Schedule will vary by day based on delivery needs Early morning starts may be required several days a week
