Delivery Driver Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our collective, We operate to help small farms get their goods to chefs and retailers. As a Delivery Driver for LocalBound, you will be responsible for transporting farm goods to and from our warehouse to various locations in and around Philadelphia, New York City, northern Maryland, western New Jersey, and Lancaster in a timely manner. If you don’t mind driving 8 to 12 hrs in a shift, have excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a large refrigerated van or box truck.
• Deliver products to restaurants and retailers
• Pick up goods at Farms
• Load and unload goods
• Follow schedules and routes efficiently
• Communicate with owners regarding any delays or issues
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
• Maintain the vehicle in good condition and report any maintenance needs

Requirements:

• Proven experience in driving or similar role
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Excellent communication and observational skills
• Familiarity with city driving
