The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to navigate routes effectively, and a commitment to maintaining the quality of our deliveries. Responsibilities Operate delivery vehicles, including vans and box trucks, ensuring safe transportation of goods. Load and unload items using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary. Follow designated routes and schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking shipments and obtaining signatures as required. Conduct routine inspections of delivery vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition. Assist with moving items as needed, ensuring proper handling techniques are used to prevent damage. Skills Experience as a van driver or courier is preferred. Proficient in driving manual transmission vehicles. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety practices. Experience operating pallet jacks and forklifts is a plus. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently while on the road. Physical stamina for lifting and moving packages, as well as standing for extended periods.
