Delivery Driver Cranberry Wood Works, Inc. Fleetwood, NC 28626 Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as well as the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate delivery vehicles efficiently. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling and care during transit. Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing any concerns. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability. Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organization. Utilize forklifts or other equipment for loading/unloading when necessary. Qualifications Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Experience in commercial driving or route driving preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the day. Strong customer service skills with a focus on positive interactions. Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus. Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance procedures is beneficial. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
