As a member of our food truck team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service and delicious meals to our customers while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality. Duties Prepare and serve food and beverage items according to established recipes and safety standards. Operate kitchen equipment and maintain cleanliness in the food preparation area in accordance with health code. Manage the Toast POS system for taking orders, processing payments, and handling transactions efficiently. Assist with food handling and preparation tasks, ensuring all items are fresh and ready for service. Engage with customers to provide excellent service, including upselling menu items when appropriate. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Maintain inventory levels by assisting in stock management and reporting shortages as needed. Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices. Qualifications Previous experience in the café or food industry is preferred but not required. Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. A passion for food preparation and an eagerness to learn new skills in a kitchen environment.
