Route Delivery Driver Position Available In Blount, Tennessee

Route Delivery Driver SLK Logistics Inc. Maryville, TN SLK Logistics Inc ., a contractor for FedEx , is seeking dependable and professional FedEx Delivery Drivers to join our team. As a driver, you will be responsible for ensuring safe and timely package delivery while upholding our high standards for customer service and safety. This is not an easy job ; the position involves lifting heavy packages and physical activity daily . Safety, reliability, and exceptional customer service are our top priorities.

Position Details:

Prior delivery experience not required but FedEx experience deemed desirable. Route includes 100

• 150 stops daily
• routes are sequenced to be completed within 8 hours (however, can be longer/shorter dependent upon driver’s ability/speed).

CDL is not required. Enjoy the freedom of working independently during the day. 5-day work week with minimum of one weekend day worked (Saturday or Sunday). Military and veteran applicants are strongly encouraged to apply

Responsibilities:

Safe & Efficient Deliveries:

Operate a company-provided delivery vehicle to transport packages to residential and commercial locations.

Loading & Unloading:

Sort, load, and unload packages, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Route Navigation:

Follow assigned delivery routes using company-provided navigational tools while complying with all traffic laws and safety regulations.

Customer Service:

Provide professional and courteous service when interacting with customers while verifying package accuracy and completing documentation.

Vehicle Maintenance:

Conduct pre

• and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance concerns.

Compliance & Reporting:

Adhere to company policies and procedures, report delays, accidents, or any incidents promptly.

Professionalism:

Consistently represent the organization positively, always maintaining a professional image.

Qualifications:

MUST have an F Endorsement on Driver’s license, Must be at least 21 years old, High school diploma or equivalent, Valid driver’s license with clean driving record, Ability to pass Pre-employment Background Check and Drug Screening, Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations, Strong time management and organizational skills that allow one to manage multiple tasks effectively, Excellent communication skills with a customer-oriented approach, Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs. and transport packages up to 150 lbs. using a dolly .
