This is a Non-CDL Owner Operators role that involves operating the owners/operator truck to transport goods efficiently and safely. This is an opportunity for delivery drivers with experience operating 26′ box trucks and home delivery experience of bulky items like appliances and furniture. You will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance. Requirements Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Able to pass drug test and background check Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle effectively. Strong time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills for interaction with clients and team members. You must be in good physical condition and capable of lifting in excess of 150 pounds, standing for extended periods of time, able to climb steps and capable of bending, stooping, and carrying products up steps, stairs, and down ramps and walkways. Willingness to comply with all safety regulations and company policies. Team members that drive must have a valid and clean driver’s record and be 21 years of age for insurance purposes. Knowledge in Setting up appliances in customers’ homes/businesses – A plus! Mechanical skills are a plus! Detailed oriented with the ability to handle paperwork. Occasional overnight travel Must be able to work independently on occassions Responsiblities Safely operate a box truck or tractor-trailer to deliver goods to designated locations. Ability to deliver “white glove service” to customers Communicate with the owner and clients regarding delivery status and any issues encountered. Follow route and schedule Must be able to work independently Deliver, install and assemble appliances according to specifications Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects Provide exceptional customer service during installations Maintain accurate records of work performed Load and unload appliances, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
