Emission & Cooling Solutions (ECS) is a service provider and distributor of components for heavy duty diesel engines. ECS primarily services emission aftertreatment systems and engine cooling systems for Class 5-8 trucks, heavy machinery, and stationary power units. Based in Nashville, Tennessee with multiple locations nationwide, ECS is a premier provider in the heavy-duty parts industry and features a brand synonymous with exceptional customer service and steadfast integrity.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Parts Delivery Driver serves both as the face of the company while in the field and support to the customer service personnel internally. Out in the field, logistics fulfillment specialists are tasked with picking up and delivering parts to customers, vendors, and other logistics providers. When back at an ECS facility following the completion of the day’s deliveries, as time allows, candidates are expected to assist with inventory management, facility maintenance, and vehicle upkeep. This role will report directly to the Location General Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Driving Drive to various locations to deliver and pickup parts to/from customers. Adhere to a predetermined delivery route and schedule, prioritizing urgent deliveries as necessary. Interface with customers to verify parts and obtain signatures for delivery confirmation. Log deliveries in ECS app accompanied by invoice number, pictures of the item, and GPS location of the pickup. Load and unload parts from the delivery vehicle with care while verifying condition. Interface with manager with regards to delivery updates, issues, or concerns. Facility Ensure floor space is well swept and free of debris, especially in pathways where vehicles travel. Assist with facility upkeep as needed including emptying of trash cans and destruction of boxes. Monitor any accessible inventory on warehouse shelves for dust accumulation and remediate as needed. General Maintain designated and provided ECS apparel during all work hours. Ensure delivery vehicle is cleaned and well maintained, reporting any maintenance needs to manager. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations, including wearing appropriate safety gear. Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Ability to adhere to a delivery schedule and work independently. Ability to lift and carry heavy parts and boxes up to 50 pounds. Familiarity with GPS and mapping applications. Must be able to pass a background check and routine drug tests. Must be able to provide at least two recent references.
