The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely in the Cleveland area while providing excellent customer service. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the quality of our services. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and box trucks, to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload products from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and care of items. Follow designated routes for deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations. Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and in good working condition through regular inspections and maintenance checks. Requirements Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with warehouse operations, including loading/unloading procedures. Ability to operate a pallet jack. Strong knowledge of route driving techniques and navigation skills. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively. Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) as required during deliveries.
