FedEx Delivery Driver 3.0 3.0 out of 5 stars Cookeville, TN 38501 Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, punctuality, and professionalism. Duties Operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks, to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload products, ensuring safe handling of items during the process. Utilize dolly’s and other equipment to facilitate the movement of heavy items. Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Requirements Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients. Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes. Ability to operate a dolly and perform heavy lifting tasks (up to 150 pounds). Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is a plus. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
