Cannabis Delivery Driver (NY & VT) Upstate Elevator Supply Co. 699 Pine Street, Burlington, VT 05401 OVERVIEW Upstate Elevator is Vermont’s leading brand of Cannabis infused edibles, flower, and beverages. Founded in 2017, the Burlington-based company is family owned and operated and is distributed nationwide. Upstate Elevator’s mission is to elevate mind and body, and to make people feel good, by reuniting with the Cannabis plant. As a Cannabis Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the secure, timely, and compliant delivery of cannabis and hemp products to Upstate’s retail partners. This role combines excellent customer service with logistical efficiency, including order assembly, loading/unloading, and maintaining accurate delivery documentation. Candidates must be comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds and navigating within regulatory frameworks to ensure a professional and safe delivery experience. The initial schedule is 2-3 days per week, with the potential to transition into a full-time role for the right candidate.

LOGISTICS & DELIVERY

Provide professional and courteous service during each interaction. Ensure a positive experience for customers, including resolving any confusion about orders or drop-off procedures. Safely load cannabis products into delivery vehicles at the start of each route, ensuring all packages are secure and organized to prevent damage during transit. Communicate order status, delivery confirmations, or delays to dispatch or operations coordinator. Coordinate with retail or warehouse staff to resolve product discrepancies prior to departure. Ensure timely, compliant, and secure delivery of cannabis products to customers. Follow proper route planning to minimize delays and optimize delivery efficiency. Some overnight travel will be required to NY. Adhere to all state and local cannabis transportation laws, including secure storage protocols during transit. Respond to complaints or issues at delivery sites with empathy and professionalism. Escalate complex issues or regulatory questions to management promptly. Perform daily and weekly vehicle cleaning routines of company vehicles to uphold safety and hygiene standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent required. Drivers must have a valid driver’s license and be at least 25 years of age. Must be able to repeatedly lift, carry, and transport boxes or beverages weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the workday. Utilize hand trucks, carts, and straddle stackers as necessary for larger or heavier loads, and report any physical limitations or safety concerns to a supervisor. Ability to drive for extended periods and perform physical labor as needed. Attention to detail and accuracy required. Ability to pass a background check required prior to employment. Previous delivery driver experience is preferred
