The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, extensive knowledge of maritime navigation, and a commitment to ensuring the safety and satisfaction of all passengers and crew. As a Boat Captain, you will be responsible for managing daily operations, maintaining equipment, and providing an exceptional experience on the water. Responsibilities Navigate and operate the vessel safely in various weather conditions. Manage and ensuring all tasks are performed efficiently and safely. Conduct pre-departure checks on equipment and safety gear, ensuring compliance with regulations. Rig and maintain equipment as necessary to ensure optimal performance during operations. Communicate effectively with passengers, providing information about the journey and addressing any concerns. Enforce safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all individuals on board. Respond to emergencies promptly and effectively, implementing safety procedures as required. Skills Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively. Proficient in maritime navigation and operation of various types of vessels. Mechanical knowledge for rigging and maintaining equipment efficiently. Excellent communication skills to interact with passengers and crew members professionally. Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
