Captain for Boat Tours in Fort Lauderdale Boat Party Fort Lauderdale, LLC 2670 East Sunrise Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304 Boat Party Fort Lauderdale is located at the GalleryONE- a DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel. We offer bareboat charters on a 20′ Bentley Pontoon or our newly renovated 29′ Sea Ray Sundancer. We conduct small group tours and private charters offering 1-6 hour options, showing millionaires row, stops at the sandbar, and docking up at places like 15th St. Fisheries for food & drinks. For these charters our customers pay the captains $50 per hour plus tips. We are looking for a USCG licensed captain who is responsible, reliable, outgoing, hardworking, and enjoys handling the duties required to be an outstanding captain. The safe operation, safety, and well being of all passengers aboard including loading and unloading of passengers. Performing all required duties and responsibilities in accordance with company policy and procedure. The captain must meet and maintain the minimum qualification requirements of the company and all regulatory agencies. The captain is required to stay alert at all times and maintain visual and audio lookout to allow a full awareness of the current situation including the presence of other vessels and the proximity of landmarks. The captain has a full understanding of the handling characteristics of the vessel and ensures it will be steered safely and accurately. The captain must conduct routine checks of navigational equipment and ensure equipment and machinery are in satisfactory working order and maintenance tasks are accomplished. If any equipment malfunctions, immediately report to management. The captain must conduct themselves in a hospitable and professional manner as well as adhere to the company dress code policy as to maintain the highest level of customer service. Captain must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours as required by the work schedule or as directed by management. Other related duties as assigned.
