Treasure Seekers Shell Tours is hiring captains to lead private and semi-private shelling tours through the Ten Thousand Islands National Wildlife Refuge —one of Florida’s most awe-inspiring natural treasures. You’ll guide guests aboard our beautiful new fleet of Sea Pro 248 Bay Boats (with onboard restrooms!), delivering world-class, ethical ecotourism experiences alongside our knowledgeable Florida Master Naturalists and Shell Guides. Tips from grateful guests often add significantly to your hourly earnings—this is not just a boat-driving job; it’s a high-touch guest service experience! What You’ll Do Captain our fleet safely and professionally through the Ten Thousand Islands and surrounding Marco Island waters. Deliver a smooth, educational, and engaging guest experience that’s as informative as it is unforgettable. Great Fit If You:

Hold a valid USCG 6-Pack Captain’s License Have at least 5 years of commercial marine experience Possess excellent communication and hospitality skills Are passionate about Florida’s marine life and ecosystem Have First Aid & CPR certification Can pass a drug test and have a clear marine insurance loss history Know the waters around Marco Island and the Ten Thousand Islands like the back of your hand Bonus points if you’re a Florida Master Naturalist or have eco-tourism experience!
