At the Master?s discretion,you will occupy watches that are primarily during day and eveninghours when senior bridge officers are normally accessible.

• Ensures compliance of all safety, security, and environmentalregulations, in addition to ensuring alarm and indicator panels areunder observation during all times
• Ensures that safety rounds are carried out in accordance with theMaster’s standing orders
• Reports any significant events that occur on his/her watch to theMaster and/or Staff Captain
• Assists the Safety Officer in training the crew during all drillsto ensure that all crew are familiar with their duties in the eventof an emergency
