Job Description Responsible for daily operations of units with direct supervision to monitor Craft employees for day to day work flow and provides direction using established polices and procedures to ensure that projects are completed on schedule
Additional common management responsibilities as listed in Shipbuilding Management Charter 0001 within command media (SBMC 0001) and applicants should review the Charter and policies and procedures before applying for position.

Basic Qualifications High School Diploma or GED and five (5) years shipbuilding experience; or Ingalls Apprenticeship Graduate. Must be able to work assigned shift.

Candidate cannot have more than 3 unexcused absenses in the last 180 day period.
Candidate cannot have any safety DANS that result in disciplinary layoff in the last 180 day period.
Candidate cannot have more than 2 total DANS in the last 180 day period (excluding lost tool). Preferred Qualifications Basic computer skills and communication skills.
