The Captain will be responsible for overseeing operations, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and managing crew members effectively. Duties Lead and manage the crew to ensure efficient operations and adherence to safety standards. Oversee all aspects of vessel operations, including navigation, maintenance, and emergency procedures. Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all personnel on board. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning. Provide training and guidance to crew members, fostering a collaborative team environment. Maintain accurate logs of operations, incidents, and maintenance activities. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate schedules and optimize resource use. Qualifications Proven experience in a leadership role within maritime or similar environments. Strong mechanical knowledge related to vessel operations and maintenance. Ability to manage diverse teams effectively while maintaining high morale. Familiarity with rigging techniques and safety practices is preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey information clearly. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
