Hot Shot Driver Morris Logistics Services, LLC 702 Commerce Ct, Prattville, AL 36066 Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong understanding of various types of vehicles and the ability to navigate routes effectively. Responsibilities Operate different types of vehicles, including Hotshot Trucks Navigate assigned routes to ensure timely delivery of freight. Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery logs. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding route changes or issues encountered during transport. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on the road. Requirements Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Experience in route driving, truck driving, or operating specific vehicle types such as Hotshot Loads Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Ability to load and unload freight safely and efficiently. Strong navigation skills with the ability to read maps and use GPS technology effectively. Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
