LUMBER YARD
Job Description Title:
Lumber Yard Associate Reports To:
Yard Foreman Position Objective:
To build loads as fast and accurate as possible while being attentive to customers and complying with the needs of the lumber yard.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
1. Report to yard office every morning to get first ticket of day. 2. Act in a professional manner when pulling orders and helping customers on the lumber yard. 3. Responsible for placing tickets in bin upon completion. 4. Inform management of any changes on ticket. 5. Responsible for loads put together neat so gate guard can count easily. 6. Wear seat belt on all lifts at all times and comply with the rules and regulations of the lumber yard. 7. Obey speed limit in yard. 8. Unload all trucks that come into yard and put into stock or overstock bins. 9. Load all trucks going out of yard. 10. When pulling orders, keep lumber bins straight and organized. 11. Service customers that enter the yard. Customers are the #1 priority. 12. Backup delivery driver as needed.
