(FedEx Ground Contractor) is now HIRING!!! This position is through an independent contractor of FedEx Ground. Drivers are responsible for delivering stops/day and pickups. We are looking for responsible and Safe Drivers who can Provide Service and Follow Delivery and Pickup Procedures. Driver must be responsible, have an excellent time management skills, be self-motivated, reliable, and energetic. We offer very competitive pay, based on experience, availability and performance. Looking for Experienced Active FedEx Drivers who are dedicated to efficient, safe, and timely package deliveries. They have a proven track record of navigating delivery routes efficiently, managing tight schedules, and ensuring packages are delivered in excellent condition.
Key Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 1-2 years in professional driving or delivery services.
Licensing:
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or standard driver’s license, depending on vehicle type, with a clean driving record.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to lift, carry, and move packages up to 75 to 150+ lbs (dolly provided)
Customer Service:
Strong interpersonal skills to provide friendly and professional service to customers.
Safety Compliance:
Knowledge of DOT regulations, vehicle maintenance, and safe driving practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering packages accurately and on time to residential and commercial locations. Loading and unloading packages with attention to weight distribution and package integrity. Communicating effectively with dispatch teams and customers about delivery statuses. Inspecting and maintaining vehicles to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
